Klostermansfeld - Hettstedt (11 km)

The line begins at the MaLoWa Bahnwerkstatt (repair workshop) in Benndorf, in front of the station of the Deutsche Bahn AG (DBAG) station Klostermansfeld (line 335: Erfurt - Sangerhausen - Klostermansfeld - Magdeburg, line 337: Klostermansfeld - Wippra). The railway workshop exists since 1883 and is still working (diesel and steam locomotives, wagon, ...). The transfer station and the mine "Lichtloch 81" in Klostermansfeld is closed for already more than 60 years.

After about 1 km, the narrow gauge line crosses the lines 335 and 337 via a bridge. The station "Bocksthal" comes immediately behind the bridge. Here started the 4 km long line to the "August Bebel smelting works" in Helbra , which was in use until 1989. Today there is only a short remains of this line.

Two kilometers further, the line passes the "Zirkel Mine", which was closed already in the 20th. After one more kilometer, the line turns to the left. Here was a triangle with a branch to the "Thaelmann Mine" (1907 - 1964). The big dump of this mine can be seen ahead. The maximum depth of the mine was more than 800 meters.

The next stops are "Thondorf" and the triangle in "Siersleben" (branch to the "Brosowski Mine", 1907 - 1969). In the following, the line is in parallel to the street B180 and the "Kanonenbahn" 335. The latter is crossed via a bridge, which received a thorough corrosion protection in 1998. The transport of passengers end at the stop "Hettstedt Eduard-Schacht", but the train runs one more kilometer to terminate at the "Hettstedt Personenbahnhof Bleihuette". There is a way of about 1 kilometer to the Mansfeld Museum (mining, smelting industry, several narrow gauge vehicles).
